As you are no doubt all aware every leader in every section MUST have an up to date First Aid qualification with a minimum of First Response. To make things easier for our leaders we have arranged to have one in Rossendale the Details are as follows FIRST RESPONSE COURSE SUNDAY 2ND. NOVEMBER 2008 38TH. ROSSENDALE HQ 10 AM. TO 4.30 PM DRINKS PROVIDED BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH COST 10 POUNDS (which you should be able to claim back from your group) If you would like a place then please e mail or telephone John Davey as soon as possible

THE place to be in 2009. Bowley will be hosting the County again between 1st to 4th May 2009 where the theme is the Jungle.

Venue: Marl Pits Swimming Pool Date & Time: 20 June, 5pm - 7pm

Venue: Bowley Scout Camp

A great opportunity to visit the international Scout Centre at Kandersteg, Switzerland and meet other Scouts from all over the world. We have made a provisional booking for 40 scouts and 9 leaders from the 21st to 30th August 2009. Only £20 deposit is required to secure a place. The total cost will be approx. £550. This will include, coach transport to Kandersteg, a full and exciting programme, excursions, food and travel insurance.

Provisional dates for District Scouts activities weekend. Venues being considered are Sandal Holme Barn, Great Tower/Moor Crag and Southport District Waterside Lodge. Details to follow.
